Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Before the Name by Ali Banisadr was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 65,245.97). Admittedly, works by Ali Banisadr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Motherboard in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Before the Name von Ali Banisadr kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 65.245,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ali Banisadr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Motherboard im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.000,00 (€ 485.816,21).
