Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Bandeirinhas by Alfredo Volpi. The price achieved of USD 54,000.00 (€ 42,079.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Volpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bandeirinhas estruturadas in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 626,254.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bandeirinhas von Alfredo Volpi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 42.079,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Volpi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bandeirinhas estruturadas im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 626.254,37).
