Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bandeirinhas by Alfredo Volpi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The price achieved of USD 68,500.00 (€ 53,962.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Volpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bandeirinhas estruturadas in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 626,254.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bandeirinhas von Alfredo Volpi kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 53.962,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Volpi erzielen.
