Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Bandeirinhas horizontais com mastro (No. 1330) by Alfredo Volpi. The price achieved of USD 651,750.00 (€ 501,809.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Other works by Alfredo Volpi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Bandeirinhas estruturadas was auctioned for USD 842,500.00 (€ 626,254.37).

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bandeirinhas horizontais com mastro (No. 1330) von Alfredo Volpi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 651.750,00 (€ 501.809,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden.
