Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale, which included the work María Entre Las Flores by Alfredo Ramos Martínez. The price achieved of USD 352,800.00 (€ 302,910.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfredo Ramos Martínez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers of Mexico in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 4,072,000.00 (€ 3,011,834.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit María Entre Las Flores von Alfredo Ramos Martínez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 352.800,00 (€ 302.910,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfredo Ramos Martínez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers of Mexico im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.072.000,00 (€ 3.011.834,32).
