In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Equivalent, Mountains and Sky, Lake George sold for USD 544.00 (€ 513.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Stieglitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From the Back-Window, - '291 ', 1915 in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 473,000.00 (€ 440,368.68).
