This artwork by Alfred Reth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2014. In the Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics auction, the work Composition (Harmonie De Formes) sold for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,099.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Reth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 43,163.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Reth erzielte im Februar 2014 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist/Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics wurde die Arbeit Composition (Harmonie De Formes) für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.099,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Reth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.163,00.
