The work Composition, Circa 1960 by Alfred Reth was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in March 2013. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,148.00 47% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alfred Reth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 43,163.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition, Circa 1960 von Alfred Reth wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.148,00 und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Reth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.163,00.
