Auction result well in line with expectations
The work San Diego Spring by Alfred R. Mitchell was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. The price achieved of USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,693.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred R. Mitchell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunset glow in August 2018 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,897.90).
