The work In the Morning Light, San Jacinto by Alfred R. Mitchell was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,816.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Alfred R. Mitchell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset glow in August 2018 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,897.90).

Die Arbeit In the Morning Light, San Jacinto von Alfred R. Mitchell wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.837,50 (€ 9.816,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred R. Mitchell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset glow im August 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 53.897,90).
