It achieved a price of USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,816.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Alfred R. Mitchell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset glow in August 2018 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,897.90).
