Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.418,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred F. de Prades auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Robert the Devil with Jockey up on a racecourse im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 89.625,00 (€ 95.968,52).
