This artwork by Alfred Basbous achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Kinetic Forms sold for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,731.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Basbous have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sensual in November this year with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,402.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Basbous erzielte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Kinetic Forms für GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.731,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Basbous auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sensual im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.402,64).
