Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work A Still Life With Peaches And Grapes by Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A basket of apples, pears, oranges, lemons, a bowl of grapes and an earthenware pot on a stone ledge; and Whitecurrants and redcurrants in a basket, a bowl of cherries, asparagus and a brass cooking pot on a draped ledge in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,874.97).

Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With Peaches And Grapes von Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A basket of apples, pears, oranges, lemons, a bowl of grapes and an earthenware pot on a stone ledge; and Whitecurrants and redcurrants in a basket, a bowl of cherries, asparagus and a brass cooking pot on a draped ledge im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.874,97).
