Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A new playmate by Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,848.65). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A basket of apples, pears, oranges, lemons, a bowl of grapes and an earthenware pot on a stone ledge; and Whitecurrants and redcurrants in a basket, a bowl of cherries, asparagus and a brass cooking pot on a draped ledge, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,874.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A new playmate von Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville kam im Januar 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.848,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Arthur Brunel de Neuville mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A basket of apples, pears, oranges, lemons, a bowl of grapes and an earthenware pot on a stone ledge; and Whitecurrants and redcurrants in a basket, a bowl of cherries, asparagus and a brass cooking pot on a draped ledge beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.874,97) versteigert wurde.
