The result of SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,730.15) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alf Wallander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bird's nest, which sold at auction in December 2014 for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,448.89).

Die Arbeit Still life with fan, roses and peacock feather von Alf Wallander wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.730,15) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alf Wallander mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bird's nest beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.448,89) versteigert wurde.
