Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work From the beach by Alf Wallander was sold in the Klassiska auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2016. It achieved a price of SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,492.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Alf Wallander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bird's nest in December 2014 with an auction result of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,448.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit From the beach von Alf Wallander wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Klassiska bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.492,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alf Wallander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bird's nest im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.448,89).
