Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Prawn Fishing in Normandy by Alexei Danilovich Kivshenko. The price achieved of GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,371.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexei Danilovich Kivshenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At the Kennel in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 160,971.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prawn Fishing in Normandy von Alexei Danilovich Kivshenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 13.371,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexei Danilovich Kivshenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At the Kennel im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 160.971,84).
