In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Cossack Horsemen Observing a Military Camp sold for GBP 40,320.00 (€ 47,339.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexei Danilovich Kivshenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At the Kennel, which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 187,500.00 (€ 160,971.84).
