In the Russian Pictures auction, the work In A Church sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 49,349.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexei Danilovich Kivshenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At the Kennel, which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 187,500.00 (€ 160,971.84).
