A top price for Alexandre Perrier - as previously expected
In June last year Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Modern & Contemporary Auction, which included the work La mort du poète by Alexandre Perrier. The price achieved of CHF 119,700.00 (€ 119,722.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La mort du poète is the most expensive artwork by Alexandre Perrier that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit La mort du poète von Alexandre Perrier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 119.700,00 (€ 119.722,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La mort du poète das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alexandre Perrier, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
