However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Jean Noël - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Stormy Mediterranean Coastal Scene With Distressed Fishermen In The Foreground; A Calm Mediterranean Coastal Scene With Fishermen Unloading Their Catch, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 46,100.00 (€ 58,770.99).
