Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 918.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Jean Noël achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Stormy Mediterranean Coastal Scene With Distressed Fishermen In The Foreground; A Calm Mediterranean Coastal Scene With Fishermen Unloading Their Catch in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 46,100.00 (€ 58,770.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Personnage Oriental Debout von Alexandre Jean Noël kam im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 918,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Jean Noël erzielen.
