Admittedly, works by Alexandre Jean Noël have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Stormy Mediterranean Coastal Scene With Distressed Fishermen In The Foreground; A Calm Mediterranean Coastal Scene With Fishermen Unloading Their Catch in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 46,100.00 (€ 58,770.99).
