This artwork by Alexandre Istrati achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2021. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Flashe - 1965 sold for EUR 3,900.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Istrati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, Circa 1950 in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,588.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexandre Istrati erzielte im März 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Flashe - 1965 für EUR 3.900,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Istrati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, Circa 1950 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.588,00.
