Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alexandre Istrati achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2021. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Contrepoint Bleu Vert - 1989 sold for EUR 5,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Istrati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, Circa 1950, which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 18,588.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexandre Istrati erzielte im März 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Contrepoint Bleu Vert - 1989 für EUR 5.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Istrati mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre, Circa 1950 beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für EUR 18.588,00 versteigert wurde.
