Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition - 1986 by Alexandre Istrati was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,149.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Istrati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, Circa 1950 in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,588.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition - 1986 von Alexandre Istrati wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.149,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Istrati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, Circa 1950 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.588,00.
