In March 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Impressionniste & Moderne, which included the work Paysage Aux Saules by Alexandre Altmann. The auction ended at the price of EUR 10,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Altmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian The Florist Shop in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 81,577.60).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Impressionniste & Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Aux Saules von Alexandre Altmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Altmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian The Florist Shop im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 81.577,60).
