Auction result well in line with expectations
The work River View by Alexandre Altmann was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,042.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Altmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian The Florist Shop in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 81,577.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit River View von Alexandre Altmann kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.042,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Altmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian The Florist Shop im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 81.577,60).
