Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2013 Artcurial held the auction Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, which included the work Bords De Riviere Enneiges, Circa 1920 by Alexandre Altmann. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,752.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Altmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian The Florist Shop in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 81,577.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bords De Riviere Enneiges, Circa 1920 von Alexandre Altmann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.752,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Altmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian The Florist Shop im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 81.577,60).
