Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spaniel With His Catch by Alexander Phimister Proctor was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2003. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,019.00 (€ 3,984.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Phimister Proctor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Indian Warrior' in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 117,817.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spaniel With His Catch von Alexander Phimister Proctor kam im Dezember 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.019,00 (€ 3.984,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Phimister Proctor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Indian Warrior' im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 117.817,59).
