Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Fierce Face or The Era of The Fishes, 2013 by Alexander Kroll for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,264.21). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Kroll - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work You Never Had a Parrot Did You?, 2014, which sold at auction in September 2019 for USD 7,325.00 (€ 6,717.10).
