Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Agave, 2014 by Alexander Kroll for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,838.13). This price was achieved in the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Kroll - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work You Never Had a Parrot Did You?, 2014, which sold at auction in September 2019 for USD 7,325.00 (€ 6,717.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Agave, 2014 von Alexander Kroll für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.838,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Kroll mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit You Never Had a Parrot Did You?, 2014 beobachtet, die im September 2019 für USD 7.325,00 (€ 6.717,10) versteigert wurde.
