Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Molotov Cocktail by Alexander Kosolapov was sold in the BRIC Theme Sale auction at Phillips in London in April 2010. The price achieved of GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,085.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Kosolapov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work McLenin's, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 73,080.00 (€ 85,802.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Molotov Cocktail von Alexander Kosolapov wurde im April 2010 in der Auktion BRIC Theme Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.085,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Kosolapov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit McLenin's beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 73.080,00 (€ 85.802,80) versteigert wurde.
