Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Phillips in London held the auction BRIC, which included the work Lenin Coca-Cola by Alexander Kosolapov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,854.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Kosolapov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work McLenin's in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 73,080.00 (€ 85,802.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion BRIC durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lenin Coca-Cola von Alexander Kosolapov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.854,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Kosolapov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit McLenin's im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.080,00 (€ 85.802,80).
