Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Boris And Gleb by Alexander Kharitonov. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,507.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Kharitonov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 145,000.00 (€ 93,139.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boris And Gleb von Alexander Kharitonov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.507,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Kharitonov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Faith From The Sorceress Series, 1965 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 145.000,00 (€ 93.139,77).
