Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Une Belle Soiree, Loctudy by Alexander Goudie was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,917.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Goudie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Fruit And Flowers By Lamplight in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,120.57).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.917,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
