Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Reclining Nude on Red Drapery by Alexander Goudie. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,699.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Goudie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Fruit And Flowers By Lamplight in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,120.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining Nude on Red Drapery von Alexander Goudie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.699,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Goudie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit And Flowers By Lamplight im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.120,57).
