A top price for Alexander Coutts Fraser - as previously expected
In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Outside The Cottage by Alexander Coutts Fraser. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,398.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Outside The Cottage is the most expensive artwork by Alexander Coutts Fraser that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Outside The Cottage von Alexander Coutts Fraser zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.398,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Outside The Cottage das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alexander Coutts Fraser, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
