In the BRIC Theme Sale auction, the work Hepburn vs Dietrich sold for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,466.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Guofeng Cao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Warhol Versus Mao, After Mapplethorpe, 2009, which sold at auction in October 2012 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,328.45).

In der Auktion BRIC Theme Sale wurde die Arbeit Hepburn vs Dietrich für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.466,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Guofeng Cao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Warhol Versus Mao, After Mapplethorpe, 2009 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.328,45) versteigert wurde.
