The work Paraíso by Alejandro Xul Solar was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in November 2010. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,000.00 (€ 46,026.39), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alejandro Xul Solar; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mundo sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28).

Die Arbeit Paraíso von Alejandro Xul Solar wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 46.026,39) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alejandro Xul Solar; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mundo im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 71.009,28).
