Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mago by Alejandro Xul Solar was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2005. It changed hands for a price of USD 57,600.00 (€ 46,643.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Alejandro Xul Solar have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Mundo was auctioned for USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28).
