Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Grafía by Alejandro Xul Solar for USD 24,000.00 (€ 18,701.78). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alejandro Xul Solar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mundo, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Grafía von Alejandro Xul Solar für USD 24.000,00 (€ 18.701,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Xul Solar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mundo beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 75.000,00 (€ 71.009,28) versteigert wurde.
