Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,544.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alejandro Xul Solar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mundo, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28).
