Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Still Life by Alékos Kondópoulos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2009. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,679.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alékos Kondópoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 102,500.00 (€ 130,673.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Greek Still Life von Alékos Kondópoulos wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.679,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alékos Kondópoulos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.500,00 (€ 130.673,02).
