Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Enangalismos by Alékos Kondópoulos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,181.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alékos Kondópoulos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory), which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 102,500.00 (€ 130,673.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Greek Enangalismos von Alékos Kondópoulos wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 54.181,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alékos Kondópoulos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 102.500,00 (€ 130.673,02) versteigert wurde.
