Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Composition by Alékos Kondópoulos was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,647.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alékos Kondópoulos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 102,500.00 (€ 130,673.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Greek Composition von Alékos Kondópoulos kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.647,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alékos Kondópoulos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.500,00 (€ 130.673,02).
