This artwork by Alékos Kondópoulos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2007. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Beyond The Horizon sold for GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,103.49) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alékos Kondópoulos; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Greek Présence D'Un Souvenir (Presence Of A Memory) sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of GBP 102,500.00 (€ 130,673.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alékos Kondópoulos erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Greek Sale wurde die Arbeit Beyond The Horizon für GBP 45.600,00 (€ 67.103,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00.
