Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coat of Arms with a Skull (B. 101; M., Holl. 98) by Albrecht Dürer was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2001. The price achieved of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 8,063.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albrecht Dürer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ Being Nailed To The Cross in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 874,000.00 (€ 806,868.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Coat of Arms with a Skull (B. 101; M., Holl.
