Admittedly, works by Albertus Verhoesen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 22,722.39).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albertus Verhoesen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.150,00 (€ 22.722,39).
