Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Sisters Of Lucca by Alberto Morrocco was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 49,230.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alberto Morrocco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grande Natura Morta Napolitana, which sold at auction in August 2006 for GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,327.02).
